My wifes tank had a bad outbreak of gha. We treated, cleaned, replaced life rock, and water changed. Have kept lights low, lowered feeding, and made sure no direct sunlight is hitting g it. It is back and building up in her crushed coral. Help, not sure what to do next.... nitrates are spot on, ph is good, ammonia is nill. All the corals in the tank are flourishing. How can we best treat the substrate before we have it on her corals again and get it gone?

You probably need something that will eat the algae otherwise you’re going to end up very frustrated with these alternative approaches to algae management.

if algae is growing on the corals and on the substrate, then sounds like maybe not enough water movement.

Pictures always help a lot to see whats happening...

EDIT: More info can help too. What do you have for cuc? How old is the tank? How many fish and how much do you feed? Whats your filtration system like? Tap water or rodi?
