Well, isn't this just wonderful. It's a pain to connect as it is. Now we have to do it over again.
 
Had to put in the Wii fi address again.
 
Mine updated without any issued and kept all my old settings. As long as synced to the cloud prior to the update you should not experience any issues as shown in @Member No 1 post above.

Ok...can someone tell me if I did this correctly?

1. Ensured "Save app settings to cloud" was enabled in my current GHL Connect app
2. Downloaded new "GHL Connect" update
3. Restarted the GHL Connect app -- everything seemed to work...at least it showed my sensor data, so assuming it all went ok!

Do I need to do anything else????

When you click on the icon that looks like a life preserver, does the correct app version display like the image below? If so, then I would say all went as it should. Nothing else to do.

Yes! I have that same version number! Awesome...I was hoping not to have to go through the whole network connection thing again!
