Moved and needing to get my Doser on my new WiFi network. Does anyone know if the USB connection has to be the old USB to USB or can it be USB to USB-C? Any other ideas on how to get it connected I do not have a cable with standard USB on both ends.

Newer USB cables should be backwards compatible, so you should be fine as long as the USB plugs into the GHL.

In the meantime you can connect to it directly and order a USB-A to USB-C converter unless you already have one

You should be able to connect to the unit through the app and change the settings?
I have no way of making a connection through the app since it's not on my new WiFi yet & the default wifi hotspot does not work since it was on my previous house network. When I plug in the USB-C end into my computer it does not recognize the doser.

did you ever figure this out? im currently trying to connect my 2.1
Nope, which is why I sold the doser. I absolutely love GHL equipment, it is well made and will last a long time, but I can not stand sh**** software that forces you to use a PC to do any firmware updates. No manufacturer should require you to use a specific computer to do anything, which is why I'll never use GHL until they change this. I asked them about being able to use Macs in the future and the person who responded pretty much said they would never use an Apple product, which seemed more like a personal issue than anything else. I also hated their app or browser software, it was slow, unresponsive and generally from the 80's. I still don't understand why manufacturers charge a premium for a product and spend little to nothing on software developments? I think this applies to 90% of manufacturers in this hobby. Okay, stepping off my soapbox.
