GHL firmware updates with Macintosh computers?

Just checking to see if its possible yet to update GHL controllers with Mac computers. The kids have PCs for school but I don't think we're able to download anything on them.

I do it on a 2014 MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM, and it runs fine when I need it which honestly is not often.
Most times I use the iPad App.

Alternately you could buy a cheap PC tablet for less than a cost of a wavemaker and dedicate it to tank control.

My MacBook Pro is a 2013 som I’m right there with ya!
The tablet is a good idea. Any non apple tablet would work, like a kindle fire? We do have one of those

You can use any tablet (android or iOS) to run the GHL Connect app.

If you want a tablet to run GCC for updating, look at the RCA windows tablet. The price is around $150 now, but it bounces around. I've seen it go for as low as $100 at one point.

The tablet doesn't have to be anything fancy as long as it runs windows. This one will do the job.

That's an android tablet, won't work with GHL Control Center.

Has to run windows. The RCA Vinny linked to a few posts up would work. Looks like it has a usb port which you'll need.

Not sure what you mean.
Tablets have been "supported" for several years now. Download the GHL Connect app on your iPad.

We have something better and more flexible in the works. That's all I can say for now. :)
