My Savvy 260 build

So, I wanted to get into SW for a long time but didn't want to commit without the wife's approval. We've had cichlids and she enjoyed them. One day while walking in a fish store she seen a saltwater tank packed with beautiful corals, a shallow reef display, and she said let's get that :face-with-open-mouth:. My heart about jumped out my chest when she pointed at the reef tank. But her only stipulation was a new tank for the new house, no marketplace tanks allowed. This was summer of 2020-time frame, and I got on FB, YouTube, and forums researching SW tanks. After looking up tanks and builders I ended up going with Reef Savvy for my tank. Dimensions are 72"x30"x28" euro braced with all the bell and whistles. Order placed 10/2020, and the races was off, and the effects of the pandemic hit :loudly-crying-face:. Halted the build even longer than expected. Fast forward to June 2023 and I was getting updates and progress on the build. August 2023, and I received my tank. But life gets in the way, and it sat in my garage for a little while. More info to come...

I cant either, hopefully I will have some frags in it by Thanksgiving. Its been cycling for a few months.

So you didn't mess around, you went straight for a brand new 250 gal Reef Savvy tank that took like 3+ years to build. And it's your first saltwater tank. My man! Goals!

Updated picture. Now it has scratches on the glass from the scraper. Going to have to upgrade to a 10’ tank sometime this year.
