I am looking at a way to make may water changes a bit easier. Rather than syphoning and carrying 5 gallon container through the house I was thinking about pumping the water out

Can anyone tell me if its possible the use a GHL flow sensor to pump a certain amount of water out of the tank then shut the pump off? I would love to have a constant water change running with a Maxi pump but its just impractical for me.
