GHL Gen 1 Doser setup. Need assistance.

Once again I need help with the unfriendly GHL system.
I have two gen one dosers added in link to the S1-S4 port (S1-S4 to doser 1, doser 1 port to doser 2).
I can easily get the first 4 heads to work (starting at number 13, due to 2 x powerbars), but second doser just does what doser 1 does.
How in Gods name do I setup the second doser with numbering 17-20?!

I may remember

1) disconnect everything from S1-S4 - and also - if you have anything beside second doser - disconnect these as well (not the second doser)

Go here - check the S5-S8 too

Save and press program........

Check pumps

This configuration give you 25-28 on S4-S8. Do not bother about S1-4 here because you should have disconnect everything on S1-S4 before

Now you reconnect the daisy chain containing the powerbars and doser 1 to S1-4 and connect Doser 2 to S5-8 - 25 to 28 will be your switches for doser 2

If you want all connected to S1-4 - you just disconnect everything as before - put the the doser2 you should program into S1-4 and chose this programming

I chose 19 here because I´m not sure that you can start with 17 - which is logical - because deep in my brain I have a slight remembering that it could have problem when the intervals not is a product of 6. But you can test with 17 as the first pump for doser 2. After this you put all devices in a Daisy chain to S1-4.

Right now I have doser 1 set to 13-16 in S1-S4.
Works fine.
I could just put doser 2 in S1-S4 and 'program it' to use say 19-22.
Then daisy chain them again and connect doser 1 to S1-S4 port?


PAB bars/devices are irrelevant here right?
I only use the S ports for these two gen 1 dosers.

Sometimes I have had problem with the mix of PAB and S connections and needed to assign the gen 1 dosers to switch 1-8 and PAB after that (It was with P3 ex computer) But if it works for you know with 13 to 16 (after PAB assignment) it should probably work with 19 to 23 too. Test if it works with 17 to 20 first.

I've already tried this, but maybe I made a mistake somewhere (can't really see what I'm doing, so could have connected to the wrong port, or bad connection).
Thanks for assuring me about the process. I'll let you know!
