I've been wanting to slowly convert my equipment over to GHL and really struggling connecting to them.

Last year I bought a used SA doser, seller said it was working, go it home went through trying to connect via GHL Connect Center. Tried for hours, gave up and it's collecting dust now. Thought there was something wrong with the doser.

Purchased a Mitras LX72XX (Ver 1.10) last night from a local reefer. He spent time showing me how the GHL Connect worked, showed me the program on the Connect, light worked etc so forth. Got home down loaded the latest GHL Connect 1151 on my computer. Made sure the the GHL Comms is showing up in in Device Mgr. Followed directions for setup multiple times and my computer will not connect to the light. Also down loaded the GHL Connect App to my iPhone and tablet. Mitras does not show up on Wi-Fi or as a Hotspot. Even did a factory reset.

I've spent 4 plus hours watching videos, reading still no solution. The only tidbit that could be an issue is my CPU is an AMD and GHL states that there are reported issues with such. I don't have another PC that I can try this on. But I can't seem to figure out why it's not showing up on Wi-Fi or as a Hotspot.

Can anyone maybe point me in a direction for a potential solution that I'm missing.

Hello,

If you have a problem with an AMD USB controller, the solution is to add a USB hub between the computer and the GHL device.
Don't forget to restart the GHL device (disconnect and reconnect power supply) after adding the USB hub as it may have been frozen by the AMD bug.
Otherwise, don't hesitate to open a support ticket so that we can help you directly: (Guest login)

@Gaël , thanks, should have mentioned I'm using a hub, and after posting on R2R I sent in a ticket.

Set COM3 instead of AUTO in the GHL Control Center configuration, as you have another COM1 port, which may cause automatic detection to fail.

@Gaël I had already thought of that with the same results. Here are the screenshots
