Hello All!
I'm on the edge of buying a GHL P4 mega kit, and was wondering that if I buy the optical level sensor (and the mounts for it), will it fit into the return chamber of a Reefer 250 (old style sump)?
I'm asking this, because I've realised that the sensor should be mounted horizontally, and not sure if space allows it there. Ideally would be to run the acrylic rod through the little glass triangle that is in the sump (and what holds the stock float valve), but not sure if it's doable with GHL only parts?
Has anyone done this already?
The space is pretty limited ( I currently have a vertically mounted (not GHL) optical sensor in place of the float valve & can't see how a vertically mounted could fit while keeping somewhat the same water level - or should I forget the triangle & mount it on the other side? (In that case: can the mounting rod's magnet be under water?). I guess I could also rearange the pumps somewhat.
Thanks in advance!
