I have had an evo 13.5 and wanted to post about it not for others but so I can Also keep track of progress. The tank is about 10 months old at this point and I just made a mistake at the fuge. I moved it all so its all cloudy but here is what im running and stocked with
Whats New? Well I changed out Everything
Before had stock gear now the back chambers go as followed
Chaeto
Maxi jet 900
Lighting: using a Radion XR30 pro on top of the stock light. I'm getting about 150 200 par at the bottom
Stocking:
Currently own 2 nassarius, 3 astreas, about 17 random snails i got from a tank shutdown, one mandarin (he eats anything its fine), and 2 snow onyx clowns, and now one Purple firefish.
Scape: currently using rrr about 8 pounds and got to say, I love it! Nice colour, hides algae, perfect holes for my mandarin, nice caves, and it was cheap!
Zoas: you showed off your collection in your build now its my turn!
Gold dust
Aog
Orange oxide
Pink krak
Wwc purple monster
Rastas
Bowser
Gorilla nips
Utter chaos
Wild yellow submarines
Eagle eyes.
Lps:
Currently got my euphullia garden with 7 heads of teal frogspawn, 1 green frogspawn (i like frogspawn), 1 bicolo(u)r hammer, 3 heads of indo green torch, 1 wellsi, 9 or 10 heads of hulk acan, and some beautiful splatter favia. Plan to get rid of the wellsi and get expensive zoas and acans.
I got some random Zoas but I recently also picked up some Orange Fungia, forest fire, and some neon green caps. Tank about 1 or 2 weeks ago but new tank shot coming very soon after 3!

Btw i wanna ask. How do you maintain your tank? Dosing? Feeding? WCs? etc.
Dosing: I don't EVER dose calcium or alk but I do dose a slurry of live phyto and .05ml of amino acids and lbyto each day! Feeding: i feed 4 to 5 times a day but only for my mandarin. I feed frozen foods, powders, tigger feast, and just lps pellets. Wc: my water changes schedule goes like this. Does the tank have hair algae? If yes wc. Does the coral look like they're going downhill? If yes water changes. It's been about a month and they still look fine

Sounds like you have a ton of nutrient import! My tank is also 10 months old but its riddled with algae, especially sea lettuce and GHA (on back glass) so im forced to keep feeding at a minimum which sucks for the corals. What are your nutrient export methods?

I have a fuge and a HOB skimmer but I am still having issues with algae, could it be too much light? Some zoos do stretch their polyps a bit so i don't think it's too much light. Also, I don't have an Evo, i have an RSM c 130. You can check it out @maleks.reef on insta! I don't have any pics on my laptop rn unfortunately.

What's your photoperiod like?
