Gig Oral disc white bumps

Hi this is my first time keeping a gig, ive had him for about 2 weeks now.

My parameters are quite stable with only nitrates around 5-10ppm.
Ph-8.2
Kh-8.5
Po4 - <.25

Under a radion xr15

I feed him twice a week with 3 nem pellets. Fed him last night, this morning i went to check on him and found he had these white bumps protruding from his oral disc. Is this anything to be concerned about? Also does anyone have any good care tips on care for gigs?

Those are its siphonoglyphs. They shouldn't be exposed, did you treat?

He came from a guy shutting down his tank who had him for a while, my lfs held jim for a few months after that for me so i didnt think hed have any problems

What could be the reason for this? Stress? Bad water quality?

That is normal. They show it sometime.
That look more like a Haddoni to me. Do you have picture of the column?

Also a photo under white light? What color is the area around the mouth?

It receded and went back to normal mouth is closed, he looks perfectly fine otherwise. Will post a better pic tomorrow. Hes definately gigantea. I originally had torches and a small recovering bta in that tank so have radions set to a lower acclimation light schedule which are mostly blues and violet. Am going to look at starting to change spectrum and raise intensity to accommodate for the gigs needs

Hard to get a pick of the column as its attached fully with its back to the rock work. I did notice some specks and bumps on the skin towards the top outer top of the column when before it moved. The inside are a little visible again today but not hanging out like last time. Here are some picks with and without flash
