Well the clam is moved out in his own tank that is fed by my display tank. The plan is just upgrading cheap petco tanks until it’s big enough for his own display. I finally got a good measurement and almost 8”. He was sitting in my display at 100 par now at about 150 par with a daylight spectrum. I’ll slowly move the lights closer for higher par in the future. Thanks Orion for the idea using led flood lights

Pretty soon he’ll be spitting water out of his shallow tank! :)

Another update! Clam has been doing great in its makeshift tank that is plumbed into the main aquarium. This tank did get a bad case of cyano that Chemiclean took away in 48hrs and no bad effects to all my tanks very impressed with that stuff. im guessing another 6 months ill have to get a larger tank for the clam

My two Gigas. The gold one is recovering from a Gigantea attack on one end. They are too big for me to take picture with my cell phone easy.
They have out grown their container and the space that I have for them in my sump. I need to move at least one of the two to my DT this weekend

Here are a couple pics of one of my gigas. If you look hard you can see the growth ring from when I got it in the pic where I am holding it. Best guess I have had it just shy of a year so far. Lighting is 400watt Mh. I am up to 250mils of alk and 250 mils of ca a day. I also started dosing part c with good results so far.
