Glade Plug-in & the Reef Tank.

Just curious what everyone’s thoughts are and start a discussion. Are there any effects on the aquarium in a room or on the same floor with a glade plug-in/candles/scented oils or any other good smelly stuff people put in their house?

Ok I'll bite. Do you know what's in the product you want to use? Companies put all kinds of garbage in these products and aren't required to write all of the ingredients. Things like glade plug ins (and even candles) are probably bad for you and your tank (not that lots of people don't use them near tanks)

I won't personally use them near a tank...but lots of people say theres no effects.

most of them are just that, oils. they'll float on the water and get skimmed out into the sump. I don't really worry about it as long as i don't see an oil "sheen" anywhere in the tank.
