Running oil diffusers in home?

Does anyone have experience running oil diffusers in their home with tanks present? I have multiple fish tanks throughout the house and multiple stinky dogs, lol. I was looking into some diffusers that run through the HVAC system so that it covers the very large house we live in and wanted to know if that would cause issues with the tank.

We run those tiny plug-in diffusers around the house and occasionally light candles and I haven’t noticed any issues. But I’m looking to run some larger ones now that will run extended periods of time and reach more of the house. I’ve heard some people say they run them without issues and then other people say things are going to participate into the tank. I’m looking to know if anybody’s had long-term issues.

Personally I avoid them or any sort of air fresheners around my tank

I never paid much attention to the air freshener warnings over the years…

Causation/correlation/maybe just psychosis? I haven’t had a stn event in quite awhile and can’t remember a rtn event to be honest. I got one of those powered essential oil diffusers that mist aromatic oils. I tried it out (not near the aquarium) for like seriously four minutes tops….the smell...
