I've read some alright reviews and some really bad ones. Does anyone have a 16" tall tank they make and how do you like it?

I've got a 6'x2'x16" that I'm picking up later this week. Will be my second tank from them. Only complaints are that they do not offer low profile (ghost) overflows and are a little sloppy with silicone.

What is your current tank from them? I am goin with a modular marine ghost style overflow and am sending the template to them to drill the holes correctly. They said they would do that for me

Welcome to r2r

Have bought many tanks from them. Some quiet large.
They don’t bevel edges, only polish. If you’re ok with that you will be happy with the tank, and very happy with the price you paid, because they’re the best in biz. They’re also easy to deal with and down to earth.
Would also say that if you buy a custom tank from your lfs, they likely bought it from glass cages and re-sold it to you

My current 45g rimless is from them. I've had it since 2011 and it still is going strong.

The silicon job is a bit sloppy compared to some higher end tanks that cost 2-3x as much, but nothing I won't be able to live with. Communication between you and them is minimal during the build, but as long as you exactly specify what you're looking for and your requirements they shouldn't need to talk to you much during the build.

Overall, I'm happy. I'm planning to get a much larger tank from them within the year, probably a 6' wide by 3' deep by 2' high tank.

Since my tanks are a pretty good size, I went with Acrylic Creations in Butler, PA. We moved two huge glass tanks (265 gallons and 240 gallons) from Florida to Missouri and one small twist by the mover and I had water all over the place. After that, I decided that acrylic was how I wanted to go.

I have a article posted about them.. I WOULDNT EVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

I'm in the market for my first build in awhile and had them down as a primary consideration. What's your story?

I’m in the middle of a build of a 75 I got from them in September. Tank is well made, drilled it myself (1st time ever), only complaint is delivery driver was 2 hours late because previous delivery didn’t have help unloading an exceptionally large (I believe 10’) tank. Otherwise it has been flawless purchase.

I was thinking about drilling myself, but was wondering if they drilled their glass before they put it together
