Get the bigger one, that chip is nothing to be concerned about. With all the tanks ive had over the decades, when I was young I would buy used and ran tanks with serious chunks of glass chipped off and never had any issues. Only time I had an issue, a major seam failure, was on a used plexiglass tank I bought, it was the 1st and last time I had a plexiglass aquarium.

In my opinion alway go for the largest you can afford and fit in your space. I have smaller tanks, but they are more for playing with non or borderline reef safe fish I want.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
