Gluing corals directly to rock

How do you guys attach coral frags to rock if you do not want to see a million plugs? Any unique methods or just super glue, favorite glues/methods?

I heard WWC uses a small amount of superglue on plug, then pea sized epo puddy, then super glue again and twist on rock. I suppose I could do this to a frag too.

Either way is fine. Whatever appeals to you, I would say. Leaving them on the plug might make fragging easier in the future. I’ve just used superglue.

You can glue then onto rock rubble pieces and then attach those to your live rock... looks more natural than plugs.

That's my favorite way - and if you change your mind on location before they grow out too much it's easier to move'em.

If buy some bome cutters you can also cut the stump off. Great for soft corals or lps.

Super glue has less shear strength if have any fish or inverts that move things epoxy will keep in place far better. Inversely if glued a frag and want to move. Simple horizontal pressure and can move a frag.
