I was thinking hog fish, they can be nasty, these still need a bigger tank.

90 gallon tank and the one I'm looking at is about 2 inches long.

They will get 8-20" depending on the species. They need a lot of sand space. They can also get predatory as they get larger. They are also prone to internal parasites.

At 2" it will be ok in a 90g, but ultimately is not a great choice for that size tank.

I see goat fish all the time whilst diving. They get pretty big. And they industriously plough through sand looking for small creatures to devour. When I see a plume of silty water over the sand, the cause is nearly always a goat fish.
