Picked up this goby described as “barred goby”. I’m trying to find out what it is. I can’t reconcile it with any of the Trimma or Evoita genus that I can find. Any ideas? It’s maybe 1” long.

looks like a Tiger Goby to me.

Tigrigobius macrodon (commonly sold in the hobby as Elacatinus macrodon, or sometimes Gobiosoma macrodon). Tigrigobius species typically get to more like 2" rather than 1".
