Going for it - linckia star

I’ve done some research and consulted with another member who has had some long term success. I know there are varied opinions on whether anyone should keep these stars, but that’s not what this thread is about ;).

The tank is nearly 9 years old and I have a decent amount of sponges growing in cryptic areas of the rock work. I will be dosing silicates. I would like to supplement the existing sponges with some store bought that I can seed, with hopes they would grow and populate the tank fairly well. Any recommendations on sponges I should be looking for?

Any other tips from folks who have kept linckias long term (> 1-2 years)?

Following as I do wish I could get a blue linckia but have been scared to attempt

Do not use your bare hands when handling them. Their skin is very delicate. They are very sensitive to changes in salinity. Keep in mind my knowledge is outdated
