I got a larger box, only issue is i need to set up my spare prime and angle it to make up for the shadowing of my clams underneath. Will be nice to see the nems get to stretch their tentacles out. Will upload pics when everything settled

I do have an extra ecc holy grail i need to off load, i ended up moving the vaders to their own box. I want to start culturing the vaders more than the others due to the rarity of an actual purple bta; i would like to get a purple passion one day but the vaders are almost the same. Vaders have a yellow tip followed by a hot pink ring around tip than they go all purple. A striking bta and probably my favorite

Hahah i put them in a bigger box and it made no difference, they spread out more to fill the box

I’ll be ready for nems soon. My new 300 is finally stabilizing really well. With the help of many automated tools installed life’s a lot easier. Used to have all kinds of nems in the realm of normal stuff. But what I’m seeing now in BTA’s is nuts! Got my brother a widows not long ago. And his dang maroon just about killed it! Maroons are so aggressive in nems. If they are not large it does not work out well for nems haha

I hear you on maroons, i love the gold stripes but they used to rip the tentacles off my btas and turn them into just oral disks with no tentacles

Sound about right! If the nem is not big enough they will wreak havoc on the nem.

Can’t wait to get some big ones in my tank.

Miss mine.

Called the part of the tank Nem Mountain!

Yeah mine were alot bigger than the maroons and they still ripped the tentacles off.

Nice anemones! Alot of new strains of btas available now when your ready for nems

Nice anemones!

The first time I saw legs I thought the nems were tapping out haha! Then I realized my 4.5” female was shredding them.

Now she and her husband don’t have any nems haha! I was thinking maybe a carpet but they get way too big!

Yeah a haddoni would prob suite them well, not a natural hosting species but maroons not picky

Yea they will jump in just about anything. Then again I think it’s just the captive bred vs wild. Wild clowns will go to be hosted a bit faster it seems. On all spectrum of clownfish. But CB clowns take a bit of time. Some never even care to. I tell people put them in a box like you have and eventually they figure it out. But in a tanks running around can take a lot longer.
