Good evening, I just bought a hammer coral and was wondering if it was normal to see the ‘skeleton’ while it is moving in the tank.

I had it in a medium flow area when I first put it in the tank but thought it wasn’t retracting fully. I just moved it over a couple inches, and while it looks to be extending more. Now I can see its Skeleton.

Is the flow not enough? I also posted a pic of what it looked like in the high flow when it wasn’t retracted. What do you guys think

Have a picture?
Yes sorry apparently I posted the thread twice.

Keep in low flow and it should heal up as long as it doesn't get real infected. Keep and eye on it
