My vet gives shots at the lfs every Monday. Today my cat was due.

I found this guy for a killer deal!!!

Goniopora. My first.

I put him about where my Duncan lives to be. Here are the results!

It does have a couple spots with flesh missing. Could be damage from the gorilla crab during his stay at the lfs.

Do these heal well or should I frag off the good parts after its settled in?

So its been a while since I got this beast...so here is an update.

It has grown about 1/3 of an inch in every direction on its skeleton. The arms have gotten up to 6 inches long.

The thing loves my tank. I swap between LEDs and metal halides every couple of weeks and it seems to enjoy the "seasons" with the halide a little more while the rest of the tank just booms anyways. There also is a beam o sunlight that hits the flowerpot every morning, that may be a significant factor in its happiness.

I do not spot feed it. I thaw out my mix of frozen foods and season it with coral frenzy. It goes nuts every time.

The light comes on at 10 so ill throw some pics up after it wakes up.

All the gorilla crab tissue damage is also gone. This I can say seems to be thriving.

Stay tuned!
