Btw, that green one is an Alveopora not a Goni.

Some are moody. My amazeballs do not like being close to other gonis. I've been moving it around for months and finally it's opening up at the bottom of the tank. Gonis are as moody as torches and anemones.

I never feed them. And I have tried many things, and many tips from others, and I don’t believe they eat conventionally. I think they simply absorb nutrients like a sponge
Thicken up some reef roids and they go nuts for it!! Nice fireballz btw.

Yeah I knew that was an alve but I think I’ve finally got it all down pat, do you guys recommend all for reef or just keep the kalk in the ato, every time I feed reef roids I get a Dino outbreak but I think they’re pretty tamed down for now

Anyone have dope frogspawn near Pittsburgh pa

Op..you saw these pieces in person at 6" extended? As it was pointed out..avelopora looks normal and the red may be stumpy due to acan but it's definitely extending. Closed would look like little polyps almost like a like leapastea lol. No clue if I spelt that correctly btw

What about goniopower is that better than reef Roids?! For gonis and alve ofc

How do you use rr? Broadcast?

Yeah I think my problem was I was starving the red one of phosphates and my nitrates were at 7-10 and the green one opened up like it was when I bought it which is good the guy I bought it off of said the tentacles reach like 6 inches in a colony

I used rr 1x every other week because my po4 is at .12 -.15. Use 1/2 teaspoon of rr and drop by drop mix in display water until it's "gooey" like in fox and socks. Use an old medicine oral syringe and do 2 gooey goo drops per coral directly into polyps. Tidal gardens has a video on what corals actual ingest rr so that's great info so you don't just raise your po4 for nothing if you find it's a problem.

That's not 2 drops per polyp lol. **** is strong so 2 per coral this size if goni. They will immediately close up to pull it in.
