I keep mine at about 150-250. I think they can tolerate lower - and higher depending on time, alkalinity, flow, etc. IMHO - the key is trying to match whatever PAR/Flow and parameters they are in at the LFS.

I'd probably shoot for 100 ish. I do have mine under so much more light (400 at peak) but I think I'm just an outlier

My goni is at about 100 par. It was just a tiny dime size frag when I got it and over the past 9 months has shown some moderate growth

200-250 here, mine double in size every year
Update, I also have one in the back corner now for the last ~6 months that gets ~100ish PAR That’s also doing well. I think they’re very adaptable, just feed heavily.

I don’t have exact numbers but mine are just happy around 100-125. They won’t come out if the light is too strong and bleach quickly. They usually recover quickly but they never seem to regain all of their color. Reds can handle more light it seems. I have never had a Goni change to an ugly color under low lighting but I have seen many bleach or be super pale from too much light. I have a monster sized Alveopora sitting at less than 50 par for the last 3 years. I like to target dose roids once a week idk if it works but they react and get all swole and seem to absorb foods, that’s what It looks like anyway. Lower light the better. I wonder if one of the reasons we struggled with Goni’s back in the day was because we gave them too much light. I know I never really had success with them till I switched to decent LED’s
