Good Morning!

Why? You eat meat right, part of the cycle of life

While I had several witty comments I am not getting into the middle of this one!!!

Just never took you for a hunter. I remember having to take the fish off the hook when we went fishing because you didn't like hurting them. But you are right, cycle of life:)

I don't see the big deal, I fish too?? Gator hunting is not like it is on TV by the way. I'll kindly leave the good morning thread if I'm seriously going to "upset" people.

What’s that Kenny Rogers song with the line “Know when to walk away, know when to run”? :)

Hey now, I admit I've had gator tail when I was younger I just can't see myself actually killing it. I know hypocrite lol :p
Gator tail? Is that like shark fin soup? I've had that. It was...ok

I didn't even know they made soup out of shark fins lol. It does taste like chicken, just more tender. :)

Oh yes, there was a big thing about it a few years ago. Fishermen were catching sharks, cutting off the fins, and then dumping them back into the water to die. Very sad :( my soup (to my knowledge) was not made this way.

I'm a Louisiana boy. I love fried gator!!

That's sad people did that to those poor sharks. I say if you are going to hunt then at least don't waste anything. :)

Shark fin soup prized as a cure-all
Shark fin soup is prized in Chinese culture for its supposed health benefits. The soup is believed to improve everything from sexual potency to skin quality and is also thought to prevent heart disease, lower cholesterol and fight cancer. However, no scientific evidence exists to support these claims.Sep 7, 2011

I have lived in Florida nearly 2 years now and I have yet to try Gator,

Fish is my favorite meat for sure, I was let down upon my first trip to the fish counter after moving here, I figured I'd be able to buy snapper/grouper cheap! Nope, same prices as KC.

So I decided to buy a kayak and go after my own.
