Good Morning!

Michigan made all the home centers rope off all the paint, gardening and other nonessential stuff. Everyone was painting
and the workers were complaining.
I haven't been out a ton but the busiest places I've been have been home Depot and Menards. Lines 6 deep. Seems like mostly people doing projects because they're home.

YEP"home improvement " yes uh huh ,6 people over 18 ,soo many different projects going ,o_Owhen the neighbor said ,hi what are you doing there,as digging in yard ,i replied with a shoulder shrug and laughed "i have no clue"lol":)o_O:rolleyes:

The landfill here has had ridiculous lines on the weekends due to all the spring cleaning lol. Went the other weekend to dump a load of boxes to be recycled and it was crazy. My trip was a by product of all the online shopping we've had to do..

That's crazy. Here by us, all dump off has been postponed due to virus and social distancing.

I worked in a pharmacy for 17 years. I was exposed to every disease known to man. How many of you have stood in front of a person with leprosy or tuberculosis or German measles. Every single seasonal flu. Veterans with strange diseases from Asia. Another favorite was head or body lice and scabies. STDs and every other strange growth a human can get.

We knew what the medicine was for we were selling them. Of course many of them came right out and told you
and more than a few removed clothing and showed you. Many many of them came to us first and we sent them on to a doctor or hospital.

I guess that made me a little fatalistic about disease. You couldn't scream and run away. It was our job to take care of them, so we did.

Yeah they were staggering entry to keep the crowd down. Thankfully if you only have recyclables you can bypass the line since those are free lol. Made me wonder how many people were cussing at me as I drove right past everyone ;Woot

Afternoon everyone!

Good Morning. I left my main squeeze sleeping and I went to a supermarket. (She gave me a list)
The Supermarket is open from 6-7:00 am for Geezers and Supermodels only.

Supermodels don't need much food and they can get by just with a few squirts of chicken soup in their face twice a day.

The Market opened at 6:00 sharp. The guy stood there with his hand on the lock as he looked at his watch. He must have been in charge of the Space Shuttle launches as we were all Senior Citizens anyway and weren't going to storm the place and run on top of the guy.

There were only about 8 people shopping anyway but there was also only one person working in the store besides the "technician" that opened the door.

Since the store employees were not working yet it was slim pickins but I got just about everything I wanted.
At the checkout there was this "older" guy in front of me and all I said was Good Morning.

He went on about how much he hates this and his stocks crashed. How he had a job in a sterile, temperature controlled environment in Manhattan in a computer room where there was no viruses and bacteria.
(In other words he spent his life in a cushy job)

He went on about how he watched the Trade Tower Fall, (as did I) But it was all Doom and Gloom.
And he wasn't a Veteran.

I couldn't wait to get away from this guy as I started out in a very good, happy mood but this guy was making me itchy even though he had gloves and a mask.

But everyone else was very nice and I only like happy, nice people. (Like the people here) ;Happy I even made the check out girl laugh under her mask.

I couldn't wait to get out of there
And a good afternoon to you Paul!

Yeah for sure. Ours was closed for a couple weeks and I went Saturday after work and there was a line probably 300 yards long waiting for people to show photo ID to get in.
I was just saying the other day that Amazon has me right where they want me. Nowadays if I need just about anything I'm thinking Amazon prime must have it so I go on my little app in 3 seconds later I've ordered it. It has to be hurting local businesses which I feel bad about but it's just so convenient, especially during quarantine.
I am however contributing my part to the local craft beer economy

I would totally wear a pair of crown royal pants!

I should have enough material for another pair by the end of this weekend. ;)
