Good Morning!

Good morning everyone! Book order from Amazon just came yesterday!

Good morning! It's 22 currently. Little to no snow expected depending on which app you look at. I just found out that Yellowstone fishing licenses almost doubled in price so I won't be fishing my favorite holes this summer. I am really sad about the fly rod I ordered now, it will mostly not be used. It might be time to drop a hobby or two.

Good Morning!

happy Friday! Continuing to nerd out with excitement regarding my build. The GF may or may not be calling me a nerd good naturedly. I just say, there are far worse things I could be interested in. That and secretly she thinks having a coral reef in the house will be super cool.

in other news Indiana did fairly well last night. Only bad thing was our rescue pup was terrified of the thunder. Poor guy was just sitting and shaking pressed up against me. Oh well, we all made it through so that’s good.

life's too short to be dropping hobbies unless you fill that spot with a new one equally as fulfilling as the deleted one. take it from an old guy.

I am needing to quit one for now. The cost of everything coupled the limited supply of things makes some hobbies next to impossible. The shortages will eventually work themselves out, but not anytime soon. Who knows if the prices will come down. I love and enjoy all of my hobbies, but they are beginning to cause stress and anxiety.

I went furniture shopping the other night and really hit it off with the sales associate. She was so pretty and so nice! It didn’t work out though. She was looking for a serious relationship but I was just looking for one nightstand.

when hobbies cause stress and anxiety they are no longer hobbies. they are burdensome obligations, those i shed as i am able. it is sad that fees meant to harvest tourist dollars are inflicted on locals, or is it to preserve the fishing quality for the amateurs? either way hang in there, fly poles make great decorations; or gifts?

Good Morning! i keep thinking of storing my heated birdbath but i still see freezing temperatures in the forecast. it isn't hurting anything since it only pulls amps when it is below 35 degrees, but when i put out the glass one i know winter is over.

Well yesterday was very unusual. 75 degrees and sunny, until all those storms you folks were talking about came by. It never rained though, just trees getting blown over. Actually that part is fairly common. Power and internet only out for a couple hours this time. Obviously the power line crews have just been following this storm racking up the OT.

My new Bimac anthias are settling in nicely now after hiding for a day. Beautiful fish. Excuse the dirty glass; I will get to it.

Good morning! More storms on the way for today and tomorrow. Planning to do a w/c on both tanks. I need to pick up some more salt. I sure wish Tropic Marin would show up back in stock...it's out everywhere! My parameters are good, my dosing schedule is finally on track, and everything looks happy. I hate to switch now and have to adjust everything again.

My LFS guy said the Red Sea blue bucket would be a close match. I may have to try that if I can't get the Tropic Marin. Anybody have experience with the Red Sea blue bucket or have other ideas?

Good Morning! going to be 70 and sunny today! a landscape boss once told me that to make money in the business you had to look out every day and be able to tell yourself "it is 70 and sunny" and run your crew like it is, regardless of what your senses might be saying. At least today he would have been right.

BRS has today. Be quick about it.

I am so jealous of you guys. I won't see 70s until June or July. It's 22 currently with a high of 40. 52 tomorrow though! Of course that comes with 40 mph sustained winds. Our thunderstorm season is in May. But they are usually pretty small. Just winds and lightning. Then we catch on fire and burn for a month or so. The seasons around here are Winter, Construction, and Fire. Have a great day and stay safe!
