I think it did say livestock loss. It was in the fish thread. I can’t imagine what that was like for you, though. It’s always hard losing loved ones, I’ve lost people in my life young and old. That’s why I try to remain grateful for every single day I have and be grateful for the people I meet along the way. Whether they are likable or not, there’s always something to learn from others ;Happy

I usually get mad at myself when I lose a fish. The painful part is me beating myself up for doing something stupid. I do not form emotional attachments to my fish like the other beings in my life, There is a cat sitting on my shoulder licking my nose while I type this. I think fish are beautiful and majestic and fascinating but also always separated by the different medium they live in from us behind the glass..

I brought home 2 poinsettias from Home Depot while I was getting the stuff to fix the ceiling. I was informed they are poisonous.

I wasn't going to feed them to anyone.

TIS the Friday before Christmas and all thew the site
People are chatting about the big Holy night

Their cooking and shopping and wrapping their gifts
Wile That Hermy is trolling and dropping his GiF's

They talk of their families and of their pets
From long ago past and the ones not delivered just yet

For their families and friends to make it just right
The Work is done to remember that night

For that one big day and all the fun
They clean their tanks and copy the sun

So they can gloat with pride and show of their tanks
But the in laws will look and say no thanks

The kids will be playing with all their new toys
The parents digging in to the food
With just the same joy

Doggies and kittens will be keeping an eye
For that dropped morsel of food
Or a toy held high

So enjoy all the days that make up the season
But most of all remember the reason.

Merry Christmas to us.
Jeanna called. She has an offer to attend Lincoln Memorial College of Veterinary Medicine in Virginia.

No more pressure.
She still has other interviews scheduled. I think wants to attend Virginia Maryland where she has an interview in January. She also has interviews at Mississippi State and the place in the islands. The only one we havent heard from is Ohio State.

That don't surprise me none. They might be getting electricity soon. Michigan State is a big Vet College ;)

She applied to 5, has 4 interviews and has one acceptance already. She works very hard at what she wants to do. She already has a serious job offer from the emergency clinic where she works when she is here.

Off to get congratulations balloons for the mailbox
