I have a spare... say... 25 cords of dry Ash tree wood available if anybody needs some. The other ten are for my fireplace.

Given the Ash borer worm infestation that killed them all, I doubt it can legally cross state lines though. Man, those things are brutally efficient killers of Ash trees.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of the trees - that looks like a lot of work. I grew up in a house that was heated with a wood stove so that brings back a lot of memories. I'm sure that I used a Stihl more before the age of 18 than I have in the many years since that time.

Thank you for the condolences; it is sad to see that many trees go so quickly. I used to be able to keep up (22" Stihl) with 2-3 trees a year but something has changed. I had to hire this out as a couple dozen were > 90 feet tall.

On the bright side, ash is so easy to split. I just look at it with a frown and it falls apart.
