Good Morning!

Finally found some air plants for my project at Lowe’s this morning. I bought the last 3 they had. They have some different varieties at World Market. I think we are going there tonite.

Thank You my Friend!
I don’t want to over do it with the air plants cause it would block too much light. Looking for maybe two more to fill in a little. Going for a certain look because it’s the focal point of our livingroom, aside from all of the taxidermy and the “**** tube” Of course!
LOL!

Five year old Little Johnny was lost, so he went up to a policeman and said, "I've lost my dad!"
The policeman said, "What's he like?"
Little Johnny replied, "Beer and women!"

Good Morning Reefies
so I posted this over in the softies forum, but would like some input from my trusted friends here.
I had a huge clove polyp cluster? herd? patch? garden?
very little of it is left. I have multiple types of polyps in the tank. all others are rocking right along.
my biggest bta has taken up residence over the cloves in question. I fully expected the die off from those it came in contact with. but strangely the rest of them are dying, even those 4" away and on another ledge. now all of the colony was connected through the same root(?) structure. could the nem toxin be back spreading through the colony?
cloves in question are lower left in the pic.

good morning. did you get in on the Cherry Corals Live Sale Raffle?

Good morning, my reef friends! My window film project was completed yesterday. It's funny how the love of a hobby can bring people together, no matter the age, gender, nationality, etc. The two guys that did my project have 3 saltwater tanks between them and we had a great time with "tank talk." Have a great day and give your tanks a hug for me! ;Joyful

Good morning everyone! So here's pretty much what Christmas at my house looks like!

Morning folks!
Beautiful day here today although my chances for a white Christmas have gone away. Oh well!
Had to replace the moth ball packets under the hoods of both cars this morning. Went out to check the oil on the F-150 and the Escape. All kinds of chewed up insulation under the hood of the Escape. It happens all the time here in the woods when it gets cold. The mice are looking for a warm bed. We were noticing that when we went to the drive through for coffee, we couldn’t smell the mothballs any more With the window down. Should have refilled them weeks ago. Rodents hate the smell and will stay away. Ever since we brought Audrey indoors, we have NO BARN CAT to keep them away! :(
Now I smell like mothballs but that’s okay because I’m old and people expect me to smell funny! LOL!
Hope Y’all have a great day today.

Good Morning!
Got a doggie client(Golden Noodle) that came yesterday and be here until Dec 30th. She has never been here before so I am a little leery about taking a new dog for 10 days. Could be a Christmas from hell. Usually don't take dogs over Christmas and just have family time. But this year everyone cancelled, which I totally understand, so figured why not. It's not like we are going anywhere. All my dog sitting money goes to my tanks and I need more $$$. Been saving to buying an auto tester/doser, can't decide between the GHL system and the Alkatronic/Mastertronic system.

I have to remember the moth ball trick, had a mouse inside my car this spring. There is a video of it posted here somewhere. Scared the crap out of me. It was starting to build a nest in my center counsel.

The moth balls really work (if you remember to replenish them). I real particular about our vehicles. Both are modified pretty heavily. I didn’t want random bags of mothballs under the hoods so I made ventilated plastic boxes to put them in. Painted them black so they blend in and stuck them to the firewalls with 15lb Velcro.
Dryer sheets also work to repel rodents but not as good.

I know i'm not losing my memory and for the life of me cant recall if there are christmas sales or not on christmas eve/day. My memory says there arent BUT with the circumstances this calendar year and the impact it had on sales . . . who knows.
