GMornin All!
Today is Angela’s Birthday. Got a nice dinner out planned for tonite. She’s working till 3:30 but then she has a 4 day weekend.
I did my weekly startup of all the equipment to keep the batteries charged. Tractor, mower, ATV and the brush hog. The ATV gave me a little trouble so I had to use the pull starter. Rode it back into the woods to check on the land. Lots of trees have come down since my last trip back there and the trail is almost grown over. Another Springtime project to add to the list I guess. She likes to go down there and read by the waterfall. Not really accessible on foot right now.
We have all new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors arriving today. The originals that came with the house are old, only detect smoke and I don’t trust them. They are hard wired in but the new ones run off of ten year batteries so I have to find a bunch of wire nuts to cap off the wires. I know I have them SOMEWHERE in the barn. I’ve been wanting to change them out for a while. A house down the road from us burned to the ground the other night so I ordered new ones immediately.

Good day. Our guest headed home. To use a phrase from Jill's family he was about to jump through himself.
Didn't even tell me goodbye. He leaped out of bed and went to the car and waited on Jeanna. She told me they are leaving. Perhaps it was because I told him we were sending a cat home with him to keep him company. I bet he checked his bags twice.

The crab proof ATO/AWC is my next project. 4 float switches in a 3 inch PVC pipe for ATO normal level, AWC drain down to level, high safety cut off level and low safety cut off level if something screws up. One device cuts off the second ATO/ AWC device if it goes out of bounds.

Yes the cat food is necessary to make it work.

Goooooood Mornin’ Friends.
Rainy day here today. Going to be worse tomorrow with a “severe” storm risk! High winds, heavy rain and a low chance of tornadoes.
We went out for a nice dinner last night. Went to a place called Tupelo Honey in Cool Springs. Angela had been there before when holding seminars at one of the big hotels in the area.
She is super excited about her “Spa” gift.
Putting up the last of the new smoke / carbon monoxide alarms today and Christmas comes down tomorrow. Saturday is back to normal. Y’all know what that means, LFS!!!!!
