zombie Monday. Woke up probably 6 times last night for no discernible reason. Oh well. In other news pretty sure I’ll be getting my tank moved to my place in the next few weeks. May also be able to snag the ATS I’ve been eyeballing. Then to decide to go for the hydros control or wave engine first. Not the worst conundrum I’ve ever had lol

They are an organization that removes plastic trash from oceans and waterways. They sell products that are made from that plastic. For every product they sell, they remove one pound of plastic trash.

boss: have X line you up to check a job he did.
me: ok. hey X, is this job done?
X: no, but you can start checking this part of it.
me: :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: ok
later in the day....
X: I need to show the customer what I did.
me: :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: (thinking why wasn't this done already) ok
an hour later.....
me: I'm done. you can do the corrections.
X: (1 minute later) just got out of the meeting. it's all a "do over". boss provided the wrong info to start with.
me: good thing we get paid hourly.

Don't you just love "work?" The past 4 days have been great for me. Last year, I was "chosen" to be a mentor (absolutely not my choice) to a new hire, who is still like a new hire 9 months later. The reason the last 4 days have been great? She's been off. :D

Good Morning All!
Gonna be a rainy day here today. Picking up Angela’s rental car this morning for her drive to Birmingham this afternoon.
I have some “goodies” showing up today. One chunk of GSP and those beautiful Fireworks Clove Polyps.
Still no sign of my Cleaner Shrimp. I can see the Fire Shrimp hiding in the rock work but the big guy just disappeared. No idea what could have happened to him. The only coral big enough to eat a shrimp that size is the Elephant Ear Shroom but I doubt that happened.
Parameters are spot on so I don’t think he’s dead in there. Very weird that ONLY the shrimp would be effected.

Yes, I have their device in my tank to pick up all the floating plastic garbage that sometimes clogs my pumps. :cool:

Good Morning! self imposed water diet started yesterday, may end today, not hungry yet.

May have figured out the shrimp thing, I hope! Fire shrimp is alive but not coming out at feeding time.
I decided to test my RO/DI water. I make 2 gallons at a time for top off. I usually rotate the jugs but didn’t the last two times I made it.
The jug that has been sitting tested 0ppm TDS. The jug I have used for my last 2 top offs measured 3ppm TDS.
I just changed out my carbon and ordered all new cartridges for the RO/DI Buddy.
Not really sure exactly what’s in those 3ppm but I can’t think of anything else that could be effecting only the shrimp. I still have a full gallon of 0ppm which is good for 3 top offs even if the fans kick on. New cartridges will be here on Thursday. Fingers crossed?
