This was something to wake up to this morning!!! Ha!

It did show me how much you guys all care for R2R and that makes me happy. I can tell you I would be frustrated as well if a site I loved started showing google ads. I don’t even visit sites where I get hammered with these types of ads. So I understand the frustration and I apologize.

I think the bigger issue is that all the ISPs have become pretty much useless. Remember the good ole days when you could search a topic and actually get useful information as opposed to search results that are 99% advertisements?

You seem to be suffering from a bad case of the grumps. Not to worry though, for the low low cost of only $13,000 a pill...

GRUMPEXIA™ is prescribed for the treatment of:
  • Acute Grumpiness (AG)
  • Chronic Morning Face (CMF)
  • Workplace Sigh Syndrome (WSS)
  • Seasonal Irritability Disorder (SID)
  • “I Was Fine Until Someone Talked To Me” Syndrome (IWFSUTM)

SIDE EFFECTS
(Some patients may experience…)

  • Sudden, uncontrollable smiling at strangers 😬
  • Saying “good morning” and meaning it
  • Spontaneous whistling (even if you don’t know how)
  • Increased tolerance for coworkers named “Brad”
  • Laughing at jokes that aren’t that funny
  • Hugging pets for 37% longer than necessary
  • Referring to things as “delightful”
  • Mild jazz hands during conversations
  • Tipping 25% “just because”
  • Becoming emotionally invested in baking shows
  • Saying “you got this!” to random people at the gym
  • Accidentally making eye contact and not hating it
  • Brief episodes of interpretive dancing
  • Apologizing to inanimate objects after bumping into them
  • Developing strong opinions about throw pillows
  • Calling your parents voluntarily
  • Saying “let’s circle back” but actually circling back
  • Unprovoked finger guns 👉👉
  • Complimenting someone’s outfit and doubling down
  • Referring to meals as “a vibe”
  • Excessive hydration 💧
  • Believing for a moment that everything might work out
SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS (Rare)

Seek immediate help if you experience:

  • Becoming the “fun one” in your friend group
  • Hosting game night
  • Enjoying group chats
  • Saying “we should do this more often” and following through
  • Purchasing a ukulele
  • Sudden death via strangulation
Do NOT take GRUMPEXIA™ if you:
  • Are already unbearably cheerful
  • Own more than 3 motivational wall decals
  • Have said “rise and grind” unironically in the past 48 hours
We dosed @That Crusso Kid a few weeks ago, and his positivity is now unbearable!

Stating the obvious isn't being "grumpy".

Maybe it's you who needs the facts over feelings antidote.

I think he was playing but I do agree with you about the ISPs. 100%!

I hear that… most of the time I'm hunting a recipe down and it takes me to someone’s cooking blog that is covered in google ads, it’s not possible to get to the recipe, so 9 times out of 10, i just move on.

I now wonder how many of those sites are not intentional either and they just don’t have the Know how to remove them…

Yup - but now my brain is wired to find the little x and close it without reading the ad. They are very clever now, some being almost translucent.

Or you hit the X on your phone, yet the ad still stays there or takes you to the link.
