Gopro camera

Ive been researching the gopro cameras and can't decide between the silver or black edition.

Anyone with any experience with them please let me have your input.

Tony, I was just looking at them this morning. Did you end up getting one? I've been trying to figure out if there is any metal on the case other than the screws that hold the different mounts. I was thinking about the silver version.

Hi James, im going to get one for black friday from bestbuy. im not sure about the metal but I think thats the only parts that are. Im getting the black version because I heard they were better for low light while diving. Im getting married in April so plan on doing diving in Jamaica. Ive read lots of reviews and looked at a bunch of youtube videos alot of people say they wish they would have bought the black instead of the silver. I figure spend the extra 100 and get the best one. Also plan on getting some extended batterys and possible a touch screen back but not sure yet. Once I get it ill post about how I like it. If I can ever figure out how to put a video on YouTube ill post some videos also.

get the black edition only because it have a remote that u can use if u don't want to use ur smart phone as controller. i brought the black edition and i freaking love it. the film quality is so amazing that it make me feel ashamed of my tank because it not crystal clear as i thought it would be:squigglemouth:. I had to took it bck bc i don't have the machine that can handle the workflow. i have a macbook air it took about an hours to download at least 15 mins length. but i will def get when i get a pro and make a movie out of it. hope it help wit ur decision

Thanks everyone im going to play with it more in the week. Wqith the different settings but ill post th new videos also.

This week they are on sale for 250 from 399. Because they just released the hero3+ for 399 biggest difference is with the 3+ if the added more fps available to the 4k video mode. In 1080p it took 45 minutes to download to my computer and its only a 2 minute video.
