Gorgonain Polyps Closed

I got this Gorgonian five days ago... suddenly all the polyps are closed except for this one branch, does anyone know what’s going on?

Could be missing some elements like iodine. Mine has been doing this all month too.

Make sure theres enough flow to sway him back and forth.

They also shed and will close up then. Shedding is pretty common when they change environments

Probably still just trying to acclimate to its new enviorment, I would give them a week or 2 tops. After 2 if they’re still not open, I would be worried then.

Mine opened day 2 and then about 10 days closed. I noticed a skin like film coming off. Thought it was a goner. Then about a week later it opened every branch and looks great. That is a month ago ..

I agree with this ^^^

Also would add in the importance of flow with gorgs, and their shedding process will be aided by good flow, gorgonians should be in really decent alternating flow ideally.
