Having issues with my purple wip gorgonians polyps not opening. Seems algae and dinos are forming on body. Any advice?

How heavy is the flow? What is your NO3 AND PO4 reading?

Increase current a little ( with good current, nothing should stick to it). increase blues, decrease white a little and add .5ml peroxide to tank per 10 gals at night to reduce cyano ability to regenerate.

I read this guy's journey with a purple sea blade gorgonian last night. He went through a little problem of algae on his and conquered it. May be a good read of experience for ya.
