Yes ive used the bottle and the tube style to glue frags to live rock and frag plugs.
I have probably used a dozen of the bottle style and 20 or so of the tubes.

I've used so many different brands of cyanocrylite and haven't seen anything bad happen.. Except a fish pecking at it before it dried and having glue on its beak for a few days. lol

I find that it works great outside of water and with an accelerator.

It was my go to until I accidentally got a bottle of BRS super thick — that became my go to for in tank mounting.

Yup used the exact same thing, no issue except accidentally gluing my fingers together
