IMNSHO, a truly fantastic 48 x 24 x 20 custom acrylic tank, sump w/ATO reservoir, and stand built by Jason & David at Clear Fabrications in Seattle. I dragged it out by hemming and hawing between freshwater and another reef tank (after my epic fail with a Solana 39 AIO years ago) but it was well worth the wait. Still a long way to go, with a lot of equipment to get and decisions to make, but I'm jazzed, for sure!

So far:

  • Ecotech Vectra S2 return pump
  • Vertex Omega 130 skimmer
  • Fluval Marine 59W LED light

WooHoo!

I finally located a couple vintage VidaRock pieces to go along with my lonely VidaRock grotto from a previous Nano build. I had given up hope of finding these rare ceramic reef rocks and was considering what else to use . Altogether, they should make for some interesting NSA possibilities, doncha think?

Added the two other rocks - trying to figure out a good arrangement.

Current vision of the aquascape. Hat tips to many reefers here. Still some work to do but I'm pleased with the overall concept.

I have some rubble rock incoming to smooth things out - but in the meantime, I'm liking this scheme
