Got a free frag should I keep it or throw it away

I got a free zoa frag the only problem is it’s covered in tiny anemones , should I snip off the ones at the end and throw the frag away

I sniped the end ones that were growing way from the anemones and threw the frags away

I’d question anything I got from them if they gave you a frag with that much aiptasia

Just my 2 pennies, and a year long battle. Never put anything in your system even if it's free that has aptaisia on it, or if it's in the system it came out of. Even if you scrape it off you risk a costly outbreak. Almost cost me my reef.

Aptaisia can spread like wildfire, so I wouldn't put it in my tank.
