I got Purple Spine Urchins on my live rock. (From Gulf Live Rock.) initially I saw 3. Yesterday I counted 9!!! (Are they breeding or were they all in there?) in any case, are they comparable to Tuxedos? I have 1 Tuxedo. This is a 170 gallon tank.

Also any harm one or two of the Purple Spines into the refugium to clean that up?

Thank you! I’m not familiar with those, but they seem similar to pincushion urchins. I’d let them clean, but keep on eye on the coral, just in case. I’d also add them to my fuge if it has hair algae or other undesirables in it. Sounds like a potentially good cuc, just keep a lookout.
