I have no idea what I'm doing.
Rods should be good. Pellets may take a bit.

Both out….great news.
Eating can start off slow, sometimes they “sneak” a bite while you’re not there.

They will get hungry, just wait it out.

They be carnivore so meaty stuff, brine shrimp and mysis.

But introduce each separately to see if they seem to like, one over another.

Then you can mix it up but not add something they are not touching after several attempts, that just pollutes water.

Let’s go a full week before making any judgement on health, so far, all is progressing normal.

I'm setting up a refugium so they will have a constant supply of copepods.
While a great idea in general they dont really go after at least benthic pods. Pelagic pods would work probably, the problem with them is filtration systems and they are really small. I have a pretty good population of mysid shrimp in my fuge, I sometime net some out and dump them in the display they seem to like to eat those but so does everyone else. Ideally frozen mysis is probably easiest and something they'll readily accept, dont get the giant ones though.
