I have a32 gallon AIO, and I don’t want to get into a HOB refugium. Does anyone have any experience with putting this directly in the tank? Will this impact corals? I have a mixed reef. Thanks!!

@viorio
Yes I mix ornamental seaweeds in my display which mimics a Caribbean lagoon.
Which Gracilaria and
What fish are in your AIO.

Do you still have Hydra Edge 68 for lightning?
If so, that blue light is not the right spectrum for Gracilaria

“Will this impact corals”
There are in the same water. Everybody impacts everybody.

Gracilaria Hayi will consume calcium and is slightly brittle making it less appetizing to grazers. Urchins & emerald crabs would probably graze it.
