Anyone come across a Mystic sunset ( what it was purchased as 8 years ago ) that has 2 colour graft? Has purple and yellow ( yellow more visible )
Had this for years and has always had the yellow and purple in it the purple comes and goes but yellow is always there.

Grafts can be unpredictable. People have been grafting corals since about 1995. Sometimes, the grafts stay mixed, but most of the time, the colors end up getting mono tone again on different branches, so you cannot frag a grafted piece eventually. Not always, but eventually.

Some of the grafts that take over the entire branch are really cool like the Joe Knows Reefs Rainbow where the pieces merged completely, not in a blotched pattern.
