Greatest Movie!

So this weekend i had a "Discussion" about the greatest all time movie and concluded (after a few drinks and some intense discussion) that you have to break them down into categories before you can choose. So i pose the question to you guys what are you favorite movies based off categories/genres. And if you can decide whats your all time favorite movie :tongue:

Action - Raiders of the Lost Ark

Comedy - Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Documentary - The Cove

Drama - Forrest Gump

Family - Finding Nemo

Horror - The Shinning (although the book was better LOL)

Mystery - Fight Club

Romance - Titanic

Science Fitction - The Matrix

Sports - Rocky

War - Full Metal Jacket

Western - Tombstone

I cant pick one overall...sorry

No right or wrong answers here everyone....but curious what you think! :wink:

Two good movies for sure!! As a Russel Crowe fan, I'm surprised you didn't say Gladiator for action movie too!!

Nice i will add sports to the original post as well!! Great list - Love Reservoir Dogs, Memento, and Monty Python is a top 3 for me :tongue:

Rounders is my all time favorite....
Sports I would say remembering the titans or The express and I'm not really a football fan lol..
Radio is also up there...
Not into westerns...family movies there's a bunch... I would really have to quote the list sit down and think about it..;)

Troy you a poker player??? I love Rounders!! Have you ever seen Maverick?? Another pretty good poker movie...more comedy but still fun!

not really i don't play since i was born and raised in vegas... people who live here don't gamble.. i catch a home game for fun here and there but that's it.... ya know Kenny Rogers and the six pack was one of my all time favorites growing up lol.... i still get them songs stuck in my head 25yrs later from that movie!!!!! good ole rocky top, rock top Tennessee...lol!!!!

Forgot you lived there. Man im sure i could control myself but living there would be way too easy to go and play LOL. I love the occasional house game too but i enjoy a live game at a casino as well!

Midway is my all time favorite. The story of stopping the Japanese from being able to reach the California coast early in the war when we were vastly out gunned is dear to my heart since I am a Navy Veteran. I worked closely with intelligence and understand better than most the processes that gave us the advantage of knowing where the enemy was and what they were doing. That turned the battle to our favor at a time when losing by superior firepower of the enemy could have set up a loss of the war.
