+1Could be some Ulva there, as well - that's what I'm seeing, anyway. Sometimes called "sea lettuce", it can be annoying, but there are things that eat it - including humans.

Fwiw, Ive never had an emerald eat my bubble algae. But I have had some starve in my tank.
If you can get the rock out you can use a scrub brush or toothbrush and a light peroxide solution. Or just a toothbrush to remove it. Personally Id either leave it and see what happens or put it in my refugium.
I have some codium growing in my tanks. I kinda like it. It died in my fuge and has popped up in two spots in the display in the last 5 month or so. I bought it almost two years ago from an Asia market in a salad mix.I wish I could salty. It's a one tank system.

Like?I cant see it in person and its quite small, but I saw few other matches.

I def agree.I guess everyone's experiences are different, we have had 3 bouts of bubble algae over the years and every time, the emerald crabs get rid of it within a week.
