Green anemone help !!!

So I got a green anemone and he was doing great. My clowns started hosting. Was really excited.

Then today I get home from work and within the hour he looked like this

Is this common ?

He is still quite new.

Very normal.They close up to digest and expell waste. As long as he opens up regularly he'll be fine. I've found that new anemones like to try to purge themselves of the old tank they were in. Enjoy your nem! We just got a green/purple Bubbletip last night for our baby gold stripe maroon clown and acted like that for a few hours. Opened up nice today.

Ok. Great. Thank you. He is do cool. I am relatively new at the hobby. But I am hooked. Read everything I can. Talk to everyone. I am taking in info so fast I spend hours digesting.

Don't like the mouth being that open --- which isn't how it should look when expelling waste.

What size tank?
What lights do you have?
What are your current water parameters?
How long has your tank been set up?
How long have you had the anemone?

Your anemone is slightly bleached (( has lost some of its internal zoox )), but I have seen a lot worse. Given the proper conditions, it should color up nicely.
