Green bubble algae

Well it started with a small patch and now it's spreading all over my tank . just want to get everyone's thoughts on what to do with the dreaded green bubble algae. Some folks say to pop it and suck it out with the siphon. And had someone even mention this algae fix. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/fauna-marin-ultra-algea-x.html#tab-full-details

We bought a FoxFaCE in hopes that he would eat the bubble but our powder blue tang will not leave him alone long enough to venture around

I've had success with emerald crabs.

Oh totally forgot about them we bought five or six of them from a local fish store and haven't seen them since, so not sure if they're doing anything or dead or just in hiding

I'm having the same problem right now and my nitrates are at near 0 and phosphates are also low I just been removing it by hand

It took a couple weeks before I noticed the crabs on the bubble algae, then a couple months before there was a big difference in the algae.
A few different times I have purchased several emeralds, only one or two survive. I really think they kill each other. I know your supposed to be able to keep several in a tank........I'm not able......

Oh, I may be wrong but I've not heard of a fox face eating bubble. They'll eat a few types, but don't think that's one of them.

Try to dislodge it and remove by siphoning without popping them, I also try to remove rocks or frags that I can with bubble algae and scrub of the bubbles then dip or rinse the piece with 50/50 mix of tank water and 3% hydrogen peroxide which will kill any remaining algae.

Just tried this last night with one of my frags...night before last it was clean but yesterday after coming home from work it looked like it was being overgrown! I didn't use as much hydrogen peroxide (probably ~ 1:10), but hopefully it works!
