Hey,

does anyone have an idea of why my acan has these green halos on its polyps?
It is not the normal color.
Is that something to worry about? Do you have any explanation?

I’ve been dropping few pellets over the polyps few minutes ago. They were not as responsive as always in terms of closing around the pellet itself.

Values are OK, the only thing is that I'm fighting against low nutrients…

thanks for dropping by ;)

You mean in the middle?

Probably i should have call it a “stain” rather than a halo. My bad, English is not my native language as you can read…

Sometimes acans change color in the tank. It might be nothing. I’d just keep an eye on them.

It could be the lighting. Sometimes my corals look different in my tank than they do in the store.
