Green Kenya Trees Idea

As I may have said before on here, my first coral was a green Kenya tree, but now I'm overrun with the things. I have several growing on the back wall, and I quite like that effect; so when I commence my cull, I'm thinking of slicing these things from the foreground rocks with a razor or modelling knife, and glueing a few to the back wall.

Would that work, or would they die and cause problems? Sorry if it's a daft question, I've never operated on coral before.

Glue doesn't work so well on these type of corals. Their slime prevents them from adhering properly. You need to basically support them next to the item you want them to attach to. Most people use rubber bands or fishing line to attach to plugs etc.

Thanks, I'll work something out. They're not going to poison the tank or anything when I perform surgery (I won't do them all at once)?

I use to frag whole trees off the main body and it never did any harm

use scissors.......snip like flowers.....keep in mind that the "snubs" you leave behind on the rocks, will eventually grow back
